Danielle Joynt

A digital home for a life shaped by sound.

Danielle Joynt is a musician, composer, educator and sound-meditation facilitator whose work spans original compositions, songs, teaching and shared listening experiences.

Glowroom Digital collaborated with Danielle to bring these strands together through website concept, design, content development, visual storytelling and deployment. The result is a digital presence grounded in her creative identity: Sound As Art.

Project overview

Bringing the whole practice into view

Danielle’s work moves between performance, composition, education and sound meditation. The website needed to introduce this breadth clearly while preserving the personal character and musical depth behind it.

The starting point was to establish Danielle Joynt as the principal identity, with Dhvani Sound Meditation presented as one connected strand of her practice. From there, the project developed a clear structure for exploring her music, understanding her background, discovering events and experiencing the work directly.

Glowroom Digital translated that structure into an editorial website where words, images, sound and movement work together.

Project scope

From creative direction to a working website

01

Concept & Positioning

Clarifying how Danielle’s compositions, songs, education, sound meditation and collaborations sit together under one identity, expressed through the statement Sound As Art.

02

Visual Direction

Developing a calm visual language through editorial typography, warm neutral backgrounds, mineral greens, considered photography and subtle movement.

03

Content & Storytelling

Shaping biography, music introductions and practice descriptions into an accessible narrative, with language grounded in creativity and listening.

04

Website Design & Development

Designing and building a responsive website with clear navigation and space for Danielle’s practice to grow across desktop, tablet and mobile.

05

Music & Visual Storytelling

Preparing artwork and visual material to accompany Danielle’s recordings, including the imagery for Lullaby: an original song presented through voice, guitar and scenes from her wider practice.

06

Deployment & Media Delivery

Establishing the website’s deployment workflow and hosted video delivery, with attention to image preparation, playback behaviour and the practical requirements of presenting music online.

Creative approach

Let the work set the pace

The website’s visual rhythm takes its cue from Danielle’s practice. Generous space, restrained movement and careful image selection invite visitors to spend time with the material.

Photography shows instruments in use, rooms prepared for listening and the natural settings that inform the work. The Lullaby film extends this approach, pairing Danielle’s voice and guitar with a visual sequence of instruments, places and moments of preparation.

Together, these elements create an introduction that visitors can both read and experience.

Delivery model

A foundation built to develop over time

01

Define

Establish the project concept, clarify the relationship between Danielle’s different areas of work and shape the content around a consistent creative identity.

02

Design & Build

Bring that direction into a responsive website through editorial layouts, written content, imagery, music presentation, development and deployment.

03

Connect — Next phase

Planned work

Extend the website into a connected digital ecosystem for audience communication, event updates and access to forthcoming studio recordings.

Outcome so far

One place to discover the breadth of Danielle’s work

Danielle now has a website that brings her creative practice into a coherent public presence. Visitors can learn about her background, explore her music and encounter the instruments and settings that shape her work.

The project establishes a foundation for presenting new material as it becomes available, while keeping Danielle’s identity and artistic direction consistent across the experience.

Next phase · Planned work

Preparing the connections around the music

The next phase will focus on the digital ecosystem supporting Danielle’s forthcoming studio recordings.

Planned work includes connecting the website with subscriber communications, developing welcome and release updates, and preparing clear pathways to discover and access new music. Event communication and expressions of interest will also form part of that wider experience.

The aim is to support a continuing relationship with listeners—from their first encounter with Danielle’s work through to future recordings and live experiences.

Glowroom capability

Creative direction carried through to delivery

This project demonstrates Glowroom Digital’s ability to translate a personal creative practice into a considered website.

The collaboration brings together concept development, visual direction, writing, artwork, development and deployment, with each decision shaped around the person and the work being represented.

It also establishes the basis for a longer collaboration: connecting a finished website with the communications and release systems needed for its next chapter.
